This video is a great example of our long-standing collaborative work with the Lennox Brothers. The concept for "Come Back" (a dance rework of the Paul Young classic) was brilliantly simple: director Wayne Lennox starred as a guy traveling across Europe in tiny shorts, filming a "homemade" video to win back his ex-girlfriend. To authentically capture that aesthetic, we shot on basic HD cameras with a stripped-back, four-person crew.

The shoot itself was a pure, guerrilla-style road trip. After filming Wayne diving into the freezing waters at Dover, we crossed the Channel and spent the next few days running and gunning across multiple European borders to capture his journey. It was a chaotic, highly practical production that required us to be fast and adaptable on the ground.

The video was a massive success, pulling in around 1.5 million views across its main release and the Armada Music channel. Most importantly, it established a rock-solid, long-term relationship between Escher Media, the Lennox Brothers, and Chicane. This initial road trip led directly to us producing several more major videos for the artist, including "Middle Distance Runner" and the 5-million-view hit "Going Deep."
