Escher Media’s association with the gaming industry goes back 20 years. We started right at the launch of Eurogamer TV and the EGTV show, helping to shape the early days of online gaming content. From there, we transitioned into producing the massive Outside Xbox channel, which naturally evolved into Outside Xtra and the highly successful OXventure D&D series.

Over the past two decades, our role as a production partner constantly adapted. On the ground, we handled the core cinematography, editing, and production pipelines for thousands of hours of content, helping to scale these channels to an audience of over 4 million subscribers. Beyond the camera, we were heavily involved in broader production design, including building physical sets and formatting massive multi-camera live stage shows.

Our gaming connections don't end there. We've also produced work for outlets like Digital Foundry, VG247, and GamesIndustry.biz, alongside major global publishers including Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft, and Mojang. A definite highlight of this era was even heading out to California to shoot on location at Skywalker Ranch with LucasArts.
